・Slim Form

When fish are feeding on large bait, they will sometimes strike a lure smaller than that bait. But when they are feeding on small bait, they rarely strike a large lure—that has been our impression.

For that reason, we avoided making the lure oversized and instead crafted it to be as compact as possible.

To keep it as small as possible as a 6/0-hook lure, we used lightweight, low-density paulownia wood, making it a lure compatible with 6/0 hooks.

By applying a gradation from black to silver from the back down to the belly, we tighten the outline of the body so that it looks sharper than its actual size.

・Hook Position

In fact, we positioned the front hook slightly further back compared to similar-sized commercial products.

The reason is that bites often occur when the lure is standing vertically, and from experience we felt that a greater proportion of the load falls on the rear weight.

Because bites come from the side or from below, and bluefin tuna dive to the side or downward after biting, we deliberately set the front hook slightly further back to improve the hookup rate.
